30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Last updated: April 24, 2026

Our Guarantee

If GrantCompass Premium isn’t helping you win grants within 30 days of purchase, email us and we’ll issue a full refund. No questions asked, no hoops to jump through. We want you to succeed — and if we’re not helping, we shouldn’t keep your money.

How Refunds Work

  1. Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your GrantCompass account. Include your order date or the last four digits of the card used.
  2. We’ll reply within 1 business day to confirm the refund.
  3. Stripe processes the reversal. The refund typically posts to your card within 3–5 business days, depending on your bank.
  4. Your GrantCompass account remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, it reverts to the free plan (bookmarks, quiz history, and basic grant browsing stay intact).
Questions before you buy? Email [email protected] or use our contact page. We respond within 1 business day.

Subscription Refunds vs. Playbook Unlock Refunds

GrantCompass offers two products, and they have slightly different refund rules.

  Premium Subscription ($29/mo or $249/yr) Playbook Unlock ($19 one-time)
Refund window 30 days from purchase (monthly) or from most recent renewal (annual) 30 days from purchase
Amount Full refund of the current billing period Full $19 refund
Access Continues until billing period ends; account reverts to free plan afterward Revoked at the time the refund is processed
Partial refunds Monthly: pro-rated on request. Annual: full year or not at all (no partial years) All-or-nothing — a Playbook is a single purchase, not a subscription

Cancellation vs. Refund

These are two different things — please know which you want before emailing us.

If you want to cancel without a refund, you can do so yourself via the Stripe billing portal (click “Manage Billing” from your dashboard or account menu). For refunds, email us.

Grandfathered Trials (Pre-V1 Sign-Ups)

If you signed up during the 7-day free trial period (active until April 24, 2026), your trial terms are honoured. You continue receiving the full 7-day trial before your first $29 charge, and the money-back guarantee applies to the first $29 monthly charge after trial conversion. Going forward, all new GrantCompass Premium subscriptions are billed immediately with a 30-day money-back guarantee — no trial period.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I request a refund?

Email [email protected] with your account email and purchase date. We’ll confirm within 1 business day and initiate the Stripe reversal.

Will I lose access immediately if I request a refund?

For Premium subscriptions: no — your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period. For Playbook Unlocks: access is revoked at the time the refund is processed (since the purchase was one-time, not recurring).

Can I get a partial refund?

Monthly subscribers can request a pro-rated refund at any time in the first 30 days. Annual subscribers can request a full refund in the first 30 days; after that, annual plans are not pro-rated. Playbook Unlocks are all-or-nothing.

I bought multiple Playbook Unlocks. Can I refund just one?

Yes. Each Playbook Unlock is a separate purchase and can be refunded individually within 30 days of its purchase date.

What if I’ve had my subscription for more than 30 days?

The money-back guarantee only applies to the first 30 days of a subscription or the most recent renewal (for annual plans). After that, you can cancel at any time via the Stripe billing portal to stop future charges, but the most recent period isn’t refundable. If there are extenuating circumstances, email us — we’ll look at it.

Is the guarantee available in Canadian dollars?

All GrantCompass pricing is in Canadian dollars (CAD). Refunds are processed in the original currency of your purchase.

What if my card was charged but I never received access?

Email [email protected] and we’ll sort it out immediately — either activating your account or issuing a full refund, whichever you prefer.
