Application Steps

1 Contact regional IET office Contact your nearest IET office (Avalon 709-729-6123, Eastern 709-466-4170, Central 709-256-1480, Western 709-637-2628, Labrador 709-896-2400) or email [email protected] to discuss your project and identify the correct program stream.
2 Determine applicable stream Identify which of the four priority areas your project fits: Development & Commercialization (up to $750K), Productivity Improvement & Innovation, Knowledge & Technical Assistance, or Growth & Internationalization (all up to $200K standard).
3 Download and complete application form Download the appropriate PDF application form from gov.nl.ca/iet/funding/business-growth-program/ — either 'Commercial Programs Application' (standard) or 'Development and Commercialization Application' (D&C stream).
4 Prepare supporting documentation Gather: project proposal with timeline and milestones, financial statements or projections demonstrating co-funding capacity, business registration and good standing documentation, description of expected outcomes and economic impact.
5 Submit completed application package Submit completed application form and all supporting documents to your regional IET office. IET may request clarification or additional information.
6 Review and funding decision IET reviews submission for eligibility, viability, and alignment with program priorities. Decision typically within 8–12 weeks. Successful applicants receive a contribution agreement.
