ACOA Atlantic Innovation Fund (AIF)

Conditionally repayable contributions of up to 75% of eligible project costs for large-scale R&D projects in Atlantic Canada. Maximum $3 million per project. Targets businesses and research institutions with innovations that have strong commercialization potential. Private sector repayment is tied to commercial success — if the project doesn't generate revenue, repayment is reduced. Non-profit applicants receive non-repayable funding.
