Applications assessed by Alberta Innovates staff (often with Technology Development Advisor input) on: novelty of the technology and IP opportunity, scalability potential (digital technology scaleable in 1-2 years), clarity of project scope and milestones, appropriateness of service provider and quote, competitive position analysis, market assessment, and applicant's capacity to contribute 25% cash match. TRL 3-7 is the sweet spot.
