The Black Entrepreneurship Program (BEP) Ecosystem Fund is a federal program that funds Black-led not-for-profit organizations across Southern Ontario to deliver business development services — mentorship, training, networking, and sub-grants — to Black entrepreneurs. The 2025 renewal announced in September 2025 allocated $2.4 million through FedDev Ontario to enhance programming for Black entrepreneurs in the Greater Toronto Area, with the Black Entrepreneurship Alliance (BEA) GTA as one of the primary delivery partners. The ecosystem organizations in turn deliver sub-grants of $15,000–$100,000 to individual Black-owned businesses. Applications to FedDev Ontario's Ecosystem Fund (for NPO delivery organizations) are no longer being accepted, as the current round is fully committed through 2030.
