Building Up Manitoba Program (BUMP) — Manitoba Finance / Government of Manitoba provides Up to $10,000 per employee trained, and up to $25,000 for HR strategy development, to a maximum of $100,000 per employer at a 50% cost share. Program Description

Manitoba training support for eligible employers to train unemployed, underemployed or current workers, with continuous intake through the fiscal year.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be an eligible Manitoba employer: for-profit business, non-profit, industry association/sector council, Indigenous government, health/education entity, municipal government or union
  • Must have fewer than 500 full-time equivalent employees, including affiliates and subsidiaries connected through ownership
  • Must have been fully operational for at least one year
  • Must have a permanent Manitoba presence
  • Participants must reside and work in Manitoba and be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons entitled to work in Canada
  • Training must occur in the current BUMP fiscal year (April 1 to March 31) and support employment for unemployed/underemployed persons, a better job for a current employee or increased job security through new skills
  • Travel costs are not reimbursed
