Program Description
NRC IRAP supports Canadian SMEs in international Eureka Network R&D consortia with up to 50% reimbursement of eligible costs, capped at $500,000 CAD. Requires a multi-stage application: registration, expression of interest, and full consortium proposal.
Eligibility Requirements
- Incorporated, profit-oriented Canadian SME
- 500 or fewer full-time equivalent employees
- At least 12 months in operation before the project proposal deadline
- At least 5 full-time equivalent employees located in Canada on payroll with T4 by the Canadian registration deadline
- Consortium must include at least two independent legal entities from at least two Eureka Call participating countries
- Project must be civilian and aimed at commercialising an innovative product, process, or service
