Montréal grant covering 40% of eligible commercial-renovation work up to $50,000, plus 75% of related professional services up to $10,000.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Owner or tenant of a commercial premises in the Montréal agglomeration.
  • Must invest at least $40,000 before tax per project.
  • Eligible work costs must be at least $40,000.
  • Work cannot begin before the subsidy application is declared eligible.
  • Networks with more than five branches, subsidiaries, or franchised businesses are excluded.
  • Government, Ville de Montréal, school-board, and religious buildings are excluded.
  • Industrial activities, gas stations, service stations, mechanics, and car washes are excluded.
  • Projects already receiving City financial support are excluded.
  • Eligible work must generally be carried out with the help of a design professional.
