How to Win
Insider tips, common pitfalls, and what successful applicants look like
Insider TipAge caps are tight: the Start tier requires you to have been founded within the last 24 months, and the Scale tier within the last five years — apply early. Scale tier also requires recent equity funding (Pre-Seed/Seed within 5 years or Series A within 12 months) and that you have not already taken more than $5,000 in Google Cloud credits. AI-first startups should foreground that focus to reach the $350,000 envelope.
