NGen's Pilot Projects Program provides $50,000–$200,000 in non-repayable funding to SMEs (under 500 employees) to scale up manufacturing innovation projects, prepare technologies for real-world deployment, and de-risk technology adoption. Projects must involve at least two for-profit SME partners combining manufacturing and technology capabilities, and must be completed within nine months. NGen reimburses up to 50% of eligible project costs.
