Insider Tip

The Drone Innovation Hub was announced in March 2026 alongside the NRC Quantum for Defence program and NRC Quantum Internetworking program as part of Canada's Defence Industrial Strategy. Intake details had not been published by April 2026. Register your interest early by contacting the NRC Aerospace Research Centre business development team at the listed email — early dialogue with NRC can position your proposal before competitive CFPs are issued. Companies already working with DND or DRDC on drone-related R&D will have an advantage.
