Program Description
Alberta grant for industry organizations, institutions, NPOs, municipalities, schools and provincially licensed meat/dairy facilities to build public trust and resiliency in agriculture.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be an industry organization, post-secondary institution, not-for-profit registered in Alberta, municipality, school authority, provincially licensed meat facility, provincially licensed dairy facility, or other person deemed eligible by the Minister
- Not-for-profits must have been operating for a minimum of one year and have provincial or federal filings up to date
- Primary producers and retail/food service businesses are explicitly ineligible
- Funding is limited and applications are assessed case-by-case
