Application Steps

Review Current Guidelines Download and read the current year's TCMF guidelines from yukon.ca (e.g., 2026-27 guidelines published January 2026). The evaluation matrix is published in the guidelines — read it before writing your application.
Contact TCMF Team Email [email protected] to confirm your project concept aligns with program priorities and to flag any eligibility questions before investing time in a full application.
Access Online Portal Applications are submitted through the Government of Yukon Tourism and Culture funding portal at tourism-fund.service.yukon.ca. Create or log in to your account.
Complete Application Complete all sections: project description, detailed marketing plan, budget breakdown (eligible vs. ineligible), target markets, measurable outcomes, and partner/cooperative elements. Clearly articulate how the project benefits Yukon as a destination, not just your business.
Submit Before Deadline Submit by 4:30 PM YST on February 1 (summer intake) or October 1 (winter intake). If the deadline falls on a weekend or statutory holiday, it shifts to the next business day. No extensions are granted.
Evaluation Committee Review Internal committee assesses applications against the weighted scoring matrix. Review period is approximately 4–8 weeks after the intake deadline.
Sign Funding Agreement Approved applicants receive notification and must return the signed Transfer Payment Agreement within 30 days. Failure to return within 30 days forfeits the funding offer.
Implement Project and Retain Receipts Execute the approved marketing project. Retain all receipts. An initial payment is made upon execution of the agreement.
Submit Final Report Within 30 days of project completion, submit the final report with financial reconciliation and all receipts, plus campaign performance metrics. Remaining funds disbursed upon acceptance.
