Program Description
A $9-per-hour wage subsidy for up to 700 hours per placement, capped at $6,300 per participant, for small and medium businesses in Atlantic Canada that hire individuals living with disabilities.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a small or medium business in Atlantic Canada.
- Must hire an individual who self-identifies as living with a disability.
- Participant must be a resident of Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador).
- Participant must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Positions are limited and filled on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis.
