Covers up to $7,500 (incl. HST) of consultant fees for Black-owned businesses in Atlantic Canada seeking expert guidance to build, grow, or scale their operations. Delivered by BBI under the federal Black Entrepreneurship Program (BEP) ecosystem. Applications reviewed first-come, first-served until budget is exhausted. Funding-status note (June 2026): BBI's primary federal funding agreement (ESDC Supporting Black Communities, $9.95M) ended 2024-03-31 with no renewal visible in federal disclosure as of June 2026; future intakes are unconfirmed — verify availability with BBI before planning around this program.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Business must be at least one-third (33%+) Black-owned
  • Minimum 6 months in business operation
