Program Description

GoEU is a newly announced export-support program to be delivered by the Toronto Business Development Centre, funded jointly by FedDev Ontario (nearly $2.5 million, through the Regional Tariff Response Initiative) and the Government of Ontario ($2.5 million) as a $5-million project. It will offer Ontario businesses export-readiness assessments, tailored advisory services and direct access to in-market European expertise — services rather than cash to the business. TBDC will prioritize firms diversifying exports in response to tariff pressure, including those in automotive, steel and related supply chains. As of August 4, 2026 the program is NOT YET OPEN: no application mechanism, eligibility criteria, per-applicant amount or deadline has been published by TBDC or by either funder.
