2 Choose a submission method Decide whether to submit via: (a) email — complete the fillable PDF and send to [email protected], or (b) NRCan's E-Services Portal online submission. Do not submit via both channels.
3 Complete the application Fill out all required fields: organization contact information, project description, activities and budget breakdown, timeline, expected outcomes for forestry capacity, and confirmation of Indigenous community governance status.
4 Submit and track application status Submit by the applicable intake deadline. Contact NRCan Regional Liaison Officers by phone or email to track the status of your application after submission.
5 Review and funding decision NRCan evaluates applications against program criteria. The program aims to streamline selection to reduce time between submission and funding decisions. Successful applicants are contacted to finalize a contribution agreement.
