Program Description
Reimbursement-based contributions for entrepreneurs, existing businesses and communities in First Nation communities of New Brunswick to support economic development planning; community-owned applicants can receive up to $16,000, individually owned up to $8,000, each covering up to 50% of planning costs.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be an entrepreneur, existing business or community in a First Nation community in New Brunswick.
- Must support business or community economic development planning.
- Must provide a Business Number or proof of business registration.
- Funding is reimbursement-only.
- Community-owned business maximum is $16,000; individually owned business maximum is $8,000.
- Each covers up to 50% of total planning costs.
- Applications assessed on a first-come, first-served basis.
