Program Description
A refundable provincial tax credit for eligible local film and video productions in Newfoundland and Labrador, equal to 40% of eligible local labour costs up to a $5 million corporation credit limit.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be an eligible local film or video project
- Production corporation must apply for eligibility before production commences
- Corporation must pay at least 25% of salaries and wages to Newfoundland and Labrador residents
- Productions beginning on or after July 1, 2021 can access the $5 million credit limit
