Program Description
Rebates 20-40% of NWT spending on goods, services, and resident labour for screen productions filming in the Northwest Territories. Scripted projects receive 40%, documentaries 30%, commercials and music videos 20%. Minimum $100,000 NWT spend required. Annual budget of $1 million.
Eligibility Requirements
- Guest producers, NWT co-production partners, or NWT production companies
- Must be registered with GNWT Corporate Registries or will be before funded activities
- Minimum anticipated NWT spend of $100,000 CAD
- Eligible: feature films, TV, digital media, commercials, music videos
- Preference for projects with broadcast/distribution commitments
