Program Description

Rebate program that reimburses Nova Scotia Loyal-registered producers 70% of eligible expenses — up to a lifetime maximum of $3,000 — for adding the Nova Scotia Loyal logo to product packaging. Covers graphic design, new labelling dies, and printing/production of packaging featuring the logo. Originally launched February 27, 2025 with a March 31, 2026 deadline, the program was extended for a full additional year: applications are now accepted April 1, 2026 through March 15, 2027 (2:00 PM AST). Rolling intake during the application window with no application fee.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Registered Nova Scotia Loyal producer in good standing
  • Product manufactured in Nova Scotia using Nova Scotia ingredients per NS Loyal label standards
  • No outstanding claims, litigation, or defaults on other provincial financial assistance programs
  • GST/HST registrant preferred (amounts are rebated excluding GST/HST) — not a qualification requirement
  • Label designs must be submitted to Invest NS for review and approval before printing
  • Lifetime maximum of $3,000 per producer — prior claims count toward the cap
