Program Description
Tourism PEI grant of $1,000 to $2,500 — set by the number of visitors the event expects — helping non-profit community groups offset the marketing, promotion and organizing costs of a festival or event that draws visitors to Island communities. Cultural festivals, music festivals and private-sector events are directed to a separate Cultural Tourism fund.

- The event must be a well-organized, widely promoted activity that is attractive to visitors and shows potential for self-sufficiency.
- Cultural festivals and music festivals are not eligible under this program — they may instead be eligible for Cultural Tourism Festival and Event Funding.
- The application should be submitted a minimum of six months before the start of the festival or event.
- The applicant must include the Tourism PEI logo on all promotional materials; samples of advertising, social media, media releases and media clippings, posters and flyers may be requested.
