Program Description
Montréal grant covering 90% of eligible accessibility-renovation expenses, up to $40,000, for commercial buildings.
Eligibility Requirements
- Owner or tenant of a building, or part of a building, used for commercial activities in the Montréal agglomeration.
- Project must bring building access into compliance with barrier-free design standards.
- Work cannot begin before the application is declared eligible.
- Work must be completed within 18 months of the eligibility notice.
- Work must be performed by a contractor holding an appropriate Régie du bâtiment du Québec licence.
- Application must be submitted before December 31, 2026.
