Eligibility Requirements

  • Owner or tenant of a building, or part of a building, used for commercial activities in the Montréal agglomeration.
  • Project must bring building access into compliance with barrier-free design standards.
  • Work cannot begin before the application is declared eligible.
  • Work must be completed within 18 months of the eligibility notice.
  • Work must be performed by a contractor holding an appropriate Régie du bâtiment du Québec licence.
  • Application must be submitted before December 31, 2026.
