Who can apply to the Atlantic Force Multiplier Fund?
Small and medium sized enterprises with fewer than 500 full time employees, incorporated and operating in Atlantic Canada, operating in the aerospace, defence or security sectors, and holding ACADA Category 1 membership in good standing prior to approval. The project proposed must be new and must align with one of the funding streams.
How much does the fund pay?
The AFMF contributes up to 65% of eligible project costs and the applicant is responsible for the remaining 35%. Maximum eligible cost is $25,000 for the Certification and Accreditation and Digital Adoption streams and $15,000 for the HR Essentials and Greening and ESG streams.
What costs are eligible?
Only the consulting fees of the approved service provider. Eligible costs must be directly related to consulting services and deliverables outlined in the approved Statement of Work and project agreement.
Do I have to be an ACADA member before I apply?
The requirement is to be an ACADA Category 1 Member in good standing prior to approval. Membership categories are listed on ACADA's Become a Member page.
What were the 2026 dates?
The application deadline was extended from July 31 to August 14, 2026. Applications received on or before July 31 were given priority for review, ACADA's goal was to complete all evaluations by August 31, 2026, and funded projects must be complete by November 30, 2026.
Can the intake close before the published deadline?
Yes. ACADA states that applications may close earlier if available funding is fully committed, and encourages applicants to apply as early as possible.
