Evaluation Criteria
Selection based on: (1) entrepreneurial leadership — applicant's track record, resilience, and growth potential; (2) business model — commercial viability, scalability, and revenue trajectory; (3) impact — measurable social or environmental outcomes aligned with UN SDGs; (4) Cartier values — curiosity, generosity, rigor, respect. Shortlisted candidates undergo in-depth interviews. Impact mandate must be integral to business model, not an add-on.

- Unrestricted — Cartier Women's Initiative does not dictate how the grant (up to USD $100,000) is spent
- Fellows may apply funds to any legitimate business purpose: product development, hiring, market expansion, operations, working capital, or other growth priorities
- Fellows are required to report on social/environmental impact outcomes for three years after the fellowship but face no restrictions on fund allocation
