Program Description
Grants for BC businesses investing in electric commercial vehicles. Helps companies reduce carbon footprint by making the transition to zero-emission commercial vehicles more affordable.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a B.C.-based business, Indigenous organization, local government or non-profit
- Must be purchasing or leasing an eligible electric commercial vehicle
- Vehicle must qualify under the CleanBC Go Electric program eligible vehicle list
- Open to businesses of any industry sector
- Must be licensed to operate in B.C. and in operation for at least two years before applying (exceptions case by case, with written approval from the program administrator)
- Businesses may receive up to 5 rebated vehicles per program year (related/subsidiary entities under common ownership share this limit, per program year Aug 10-Aug 9); Indigenous organizations, local governments and non-profits may receive up to 10
- Vehicle must be new (constructed only from new parts, never the subject of a retail sale, never registered in B.C. or elsewhere, not a re-lease or lease assumption) — except demonstration vehicles registered only to the OEM or dealer with under 10,000 km, which may qualify
