Program Description

PacifiCan-funded Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program (EDP), delivered by Community Futures British Columbia. Provides business advising, coaching, and short-term business development training to entrepreneurs with a disability who want to start, maintain or grow a business in BC, plus support accessing capital through Community Futures offices. No published funding amount.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Has a self-declared permanent or long-term disability, or an episodic condition (or has been assessed as having a disability)
  • Experiences substantial functional limitations (e.g. neurodiverse condition, or physical, sensory, intellectual or developmental disability)
  • Faces barriers accessing standard business development supports
  • Lives in British Columbia and is 18 years or older
  • Owns a registered BC business or has a clear business idea
  • Should have related experience in the proposed business
