Program Description

Nunavut grant that reimburses employers for two-thirds of the eligible cost of training or professional development for Nunavummiut, where the training leads to a new position, a promotion, increased pay within the organization, or regular employment. Open to registered Nunavut-based employers, municipalities and societies.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be a registered Nunavut-based employer
  • Have a position available for the trainee to advance into after training
  • Be able to contribute at least one-third of the total eligible training expenses
  • Training must lead to a new position, a promotion, increased pay within the organization, or regular employment
  • Must be a small employer (50 or fewer employees), a designated Crown Corporation, or another employer type named by the programme
