Program Description
Gives B2B software, AI, and technology startups up to $150,000 USD in Azure credits over time, with a self-serve entry tier offering up to $5,000 (and $1,000 immediately) for eligible early-stage companies.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be developing and own a software-based product or service that is core to the business
- Must be privately held and for-profit
- Must not have raised Series C funding
- Must have received fewer than $350,000 in lifetime free Azure credits
- Must be headquartered in a country where Azure services are available (Canada qualifies)
- Higher-tier (investor offer) credits require a referral code from a participating investor, accelerator, incubator, angel network or university
- Not open to educational institutions, government organizations, consultancies, or agencies
- A credit card is required to activate credits

Insider TipIf you have no investor referral code, start with the self-serve Azure startup credit offer ($1,000, then $4,000 after business verification). Activate within 90 days of accepting the program agreement or the offer expires and you must reapply; once activated, credits are valid up to two years with no extensions. If declined, you can reapply after 14 days.
