Program Description
Montréal financial aid for retail, rental, or consumer-service businesses hurt by major public-works projects, calculated from gross-profit decline.
Eligibility Requirements
- Business must exercise retail sales, product rental, or consumer services.
- Business was active before the major works began.
- Located in a designated major-works sector involving public-infrastructure works of at least six months that impede automobile traffic.
- Demonstrate a gross-profit decline of more than 5%.
- Professional, financial, health (except daycare), and real-estate services are excluded.
- Business must not have ceased operations or gone bankrupt within 40 days after applying.
- Application must be submitted within a limited time after the qualifying works end.
