Montréal financial aid for retail, rental, or consumer-service businesses hurt by major public-works projects, calculated from gross-profit decline.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Business must exercise retail sales, product rental, or consumer services.
  • Business was active before the major works began.
  • Located in a designated major-works sector involving public-infrastructure works of at least six months that impede automobile traffic.
  • Demonstrate a gross-profit decline of more than 5%.
  • Professional, financial, health (except daycare), and real-estate services are excluded.
  • Business must not have ceased operations or gone bankrupt within 40 days after applying.
  • Application must be submitted within a limited time after the qualifying works end.
