Insider Tip

This is a conditional contribution covering at most 30% of eligible costs — you must fund the other 70%. Apply at least 16 weeks before the event; NOHFC will not consider an event that has already happened. If approved, you can request 50% up front on signing and the balance after the final event report. Ineligible costs include ongoing operations, participant travel, alcohol, awards/gifts and annual general or business meetings. Private-sector events do not qualify. Assets financed by NOHFC that are sold within three years of project completion may have to be repaid.
