What this program funds and who can apply
Program Description
Reimburses up to 50% of eligible expenses for Nova Scotia farms or Mi'kmaq farming operations in Mi'kmaw communities, with a maximum of $5,000 per program year and up to $2,000 lifetime for Business Advisory Services, capped at $12,000 over the life of Sustainable CAP.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a farm or Mi'kmaq conducting farming activities in a Mi'kmaw community in Nova Scotia.
- Must be currently registered under the Farm Registration Act.
- Annual eligible gross farming income must be $30,000 or less.
- Must be actively farming in the program year.
- Applicant must be 19 years of age or older.
- Only one application per year per applicant.
