Live Music Promoters and Presenters (including festivals) MUST apply to the second deadline (September 24, 2026, 5:00PM ET) and their activities are fixed to December 1, 2026 - November 30, 2027. Labels, publishers and management companies applying to Intake 2 get a 12-month window inside August 1, 2026 - January 15, 2028. Cost-share is tiered: for requests of $25,000 or less OMIF may cover up to 75% of the approved budget; over $25,000 it drops to 50%. First-time applicants are strongly encouraged to contact the Ontario Music Office at least two weeks before the deadline. Note there is an information session on August 12, 2026.
