The City of St. Albert reimburses up to 50% of eligible storefront improvement costs to a maximum of $3,000 per applicant. Home-based businesses and non-commercial entities do not qualify.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Customer-facing commercial storefront located in St. Albert.
  • Applicant must hold a valid, active St. Albert business licence.
  • Applicant must be the business owner or authorized representative of the eligible storefront location.
  • Home-based businesses and non-commercial entities do not qualify.
  • Reimbursement covers up to 50% of eligible project costs to a maximum of $3,000 per applicant.
  • Exterior storefront signage is capped at $500 per application or project.
  • Reimbursement is paid after completion and installation unless optional pre-approval is obtained.
