Program Description
The City of St. Albert reimburses up to 50% of eligible storefront improvement costs to a maximum of $3,000 per applicant. Home-based businesses and non-commercial entities do not qualify.
Eligibility Requirements
- Customer-facing commercial storefront located in St. Albert.
- Applicant must hold a valid, active St. Albert business licence.
- Applicant must be the business owner or authorized representative of the eligible storefront location.
- Home-based businesses and non-commercial entities do not qualify.
- Reimbursement covers up to 50% of eligible project costs to a maximum of $3,000 per applicant.
- Exterior storefront signage is capped at $500 per application or project.
- Reimbursement is paid after completion and installation unless optional pre-approval is obtained.
- Optional pre-approval reserves funds for up to 30 days; receipts cannot be shared, split, or reused across applications.
