$10,000 cash (7 awards total), but requires 1:1 matching funds. Must be in agri-tech/clean-tech, York Region, with MVP.
Do I need to be incorporated in Canada for HCI?
Yes. Non-Canadian incorporated startups are ineligible. Must be a Canadian corporation for all programs.
Can I stack EIF with IRAP?
Yes. ventureLAB has IRAP delivery partnerships. EIF cash + IRAP can be combined for hardware development.
What happens if I don't have matching funds for EIF?
Applications fail immediately. EIF requires 1:1 matching — no exceptions. Must provide proof of matching funds in application.
