What this program funds and who can apply
Program Description
Funds Nova Scotia employers for workforce training that drives innovation and productivity — up to 100% of the first $10K for small businesses (under 50 employees), then 50% of additional costs. Maximum $100K per fiscal year. Replaces the closed Canada-Nova Scotia Job Grant.
Eligibility Requirements
- Legally registered business, industry association, sector council, or non-profit in Nova Scotia
- Registered in Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stock Companies
- Operating for at least one calendar year
- Generating at least 30% of revenues from commercial activity
- Not solely in wholesale, retail, or accommodations and food services
- Employees must be full-time, legal working age, and permanent NS residents
