DoorDash awards $5,000 grants to independently owned, brick-and-mortar local businesses affected by eligible natural disasters. The fund activates per disaster and typically remains open for four to six weeks.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be a for-profit business located and registered in Canada (the fund also covers the U.S., D.C., Puerto Rico, Australia and New Zealand)
- Be independently owned
- Be a local business with a brick-and-mortar location, for example a restaurant, bakery, flower shop, liquor store, convenience store, pet store or grocery store
- Have experienced revenue loss due to an eligible natural disaster
- Have 3 or fewer locations
- Have 50 or fewer employees per location
- Have been open for at least six months
- Have $3M or less in revenue per location in the last 12 months
