Eligibility Requirements

  • Be a for-profit business located and registered in Canada (the fund also covers the U.S., D.C., Puerto Rico, Australia and New Zealand)
  • Be independently owned
  • Be a local business with a brick-and-mortar location, for example a restaurant, bakery, flower shop, liquor store, convenience store, pet store or grocery store
  • Have experienced revenue loss due to an eligible natural disaster
  • Have 3 or fewer locations
  • Have 50 or fewer employees per location
  • Have been open for at least six months
  • Have $3M or less in revenue per location in the last 12 months
