Program Description
PRIDE Pitch is a competition offering $10,000 in total cash prizes for startups affiliated with University of Toronto campuses, U of T accelerators, OnRamp, IDEA Mississauga, or QueerTech. At least one team member must identify as 2SLGBTQ+.
Eligibility Requirements
- Students, alumni, staff and faculty from all three University of Toronto campuses
- Members of the community in Peel Region
- Community members of QueerTech
- Startup members of any U of T Accelerator, OnRamp members, or members of IDEA Mississauga
- At least one team member identifies as 2SLGBTQ+
- Open to all sectors
- Less than $150,000 cumulative funding or investment as of the application date
- Less than $50,000 cumulative revenue as of the application date
- Previous PRIDE Pitch finalists may compete again; previous PRIDE Pitch winners may not
- Able to present in person, poster-presentation style, to the panel on August 27, 2026 at the University of Toronto
