The City of Kelowna offers a 50% rebate of eligible security-enhancement costs up to $3,000 before tax per business licence. Businesses must hold a valid City of Kelowna business licence and implement recommendations from a no-cost CPTED audit.
Eligibility Requirements
- Hold a valid City of Kelowna Business Licence.
- Limit of one application per business licence.
- Security enhancements must be recommended in a no-cost Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) audit.
- Rebate covers 50% of eligible costs up to $3,000 before tax.
- Program runs from March 1, 2026 to November 30, 2026, or until the $200,000 fund is fully allocated.
