Program Description
Ongoing one-time cash rebate of up to $0.30 per litre of water saved per average day for Toronto industrial, commercial and institutional organizations that implement permanent water-savings measures.
Eligibility Requirements
- Industrial, commercial or institutional organization that reduces water use
- Industrial customers using up to 15,000 m³/yr are eligible for a free water audit
- Industrial customers using up to 5,000 m³/yr, and commercial/institutional customers implementing permanent water-savings measures, are eligible for the cash rebate
- Eligible equipment includes cooling towers, boilers, refrigeration equipment, food service equipment, process equipment, grey-water reuse and rainwater harvesting
- Domestic fixtures, irrigation systems and rain barrels are not eligible for cash incentives
