Program Description

Juried sound-recording production grants for Manitoba-resident recording artists, at three levels. Level 1 funds a demo (up to 100%, max $2,000) or a commercial release (up to 100%, max $3,000) and needs no business registration. Level 2 funds an EP or album of five or more songs (up to 75%, max $10,000) and Level 3 a full-length album of six or more songs or twenty minutes (up to 60%, max $20,000); both require a registered or incorporated Manitoba business. Recording or mixing must use a Manitoba Film and Music accredited studio, mixer or producer, and mixing must happen in Manitoba.
