Program Description
Covers 50% of eligible façade improvement costs, up to $5,000 per property, with an additional $2,000 matching grant for Part IV Ontario Heritage Act designated properties. Applications are first-come, first-served.
Eligibility Requirements
- Open to eligible property owners or tenants within the Downtown Tomorrow CIP project area
- Non-owners need written owner consent
- Mandatory pre-consultation with the Business Development team is required
- Work begun before application submission is ineligible
- Heritage-designated properties under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act may receive an additional $2,000 on a matching 50/50 basis and require a Heritage Impact Statement
